Ayham Allouch
Ayham Allouch (He/Him/They, born 1995, Damascus, Syria) is a Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist and sound designer. Their work spans sound installations, 3D video collaborations, experimental art documentaries, and live performances. Influenced by their political background, displacement, and immigration experiences, they weave ancestral knowledge, traditional music, and technology into complex narratives. Ayham’s innovative use of field recordings and deconstructive techniques creates generative modular patches. Their research focuses on Levantine vocal heritage and sonic resistance, particularly explored in their project "Al-ahazij." Ayham has completed a bachelor's degree in Electronic Music Production and Performance at the Catalyst Institute for Creative Arts and Technology in Berlin. Their work has been showcased at venues such as Savvy Contemporary, Documenta 15, CTM Festival, Silent Green Vorspiel, ZK/U, and Hosek Contemporary.
