Ambient Fuccboi

ambient fuccboi aka Andra Nikolayi (they/them/transylvania, romania) has a wide array of roles across the sonic spectrum, currently working as a music journalist and in PR. They started with small sound installations while in art school, developing a dj practice under the amber amber and opal opal monikers, followed by bar residencies in Paris and Amsterdam. While studying Sound and Performance Art at the Ecole Nationale Superieure Des Beaux Arts in Paris, they began playing live as discombobulatrix, followed by a tape on French Label Logique Floue and shows at Instants Chavirés (Paris), Madame Claude (Berlin), Café Centrale (Brussels) and Zero Wave in London. ambient fuccboi is their latest iteration, working with language, noise and field recordings as their tools of choice.
